East Providence is a city in Providence County, Rhode Island. The population is a little over 47,000, making it the fifth largest city in the state. One of the main attractions is the Crescent Park Looff Carousel located in Riverside. This is a hand-carved carousel built in 1895 by Charles I. D. Looff.
