To the west Greene Coventry, named after historically significant Resident Nathanial Greene of the Revolutionary war actually borders Connecticut.  East, In town Coventry has a commercial hub on Tiogue Avenue, which is nearby two of Coventry's premier neighborhoods, Wood Estates and Johnson's Pond.  For lovers of lake front living, Johnson's Pond is the premier neighborhood in Rhode Island.  Every year, water sports, fun and fireworks are the expectation for evening spent on the Pond.   In 2015 prices for a piece of Heaven on the Waterfront have gone as high as 1,015,000 for a 3771 custom home with a 3 car garage.   However, you can score direct waterfront on Johnson's Pond for a much lower price if you don't need all that space.
